Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of eSIM products and services provided by JavaMifi Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("we," "our," or "us") in Malaysia. By accessing or using our eSIM services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
Definition
The following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
- eSIM: A digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan without the need for a physical SIM card. It is provided by JavaMifi Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. for use on compatible devices.
- Buyer: A buyer for eSIM through website.
- JavaMifi Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. ("we," "our," or "us"): JavaMifi Malaysia (Company no. 1589023-V) a company incorporated in Malaysia and having its registered office address at Block B2, Mirage Block B, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
- Compatible Device: A mobile device, tablet, or any other electronic device that supports eSIM technology and is capable of scanning a QR code or manually entering an activation code for eSIM activation.
- Service: The eSIM product and related telecommunications services offered by JavaMifi Malaysia, including mobile data, voice, and SMS services, depending on the plan purchased.
- Valid Information: The personal information you must provide when purchasing the eSIM, such as your full name, email address, phone number, and payment details. This information must be accurate and up-to-date to ensure the proper activation and provision of services.
- Redemption Code: A unique code issued to you by JavaMifi Malaysia upon purchase of an eSIM. The code is required to activate the eSIM on a compatible device.
- Network Coverage Area: The geographic region in which JavaMifi Malaysia’s eSIM services are available. This includes all areas within Malaysia and other regions where JavaMifi Malaysia has partnerships with local carriers.
- Activation: The process of activating the eSIM service by scanning the QR code or entering the activation code provided upon purchase. This action links the eSIM to the device for use.
- User Agreement: These Terms and Conditions that govern the use of JavaMifi's eSIM services.
1. Eligibility
To purchase and use an eSIM from JavaMifi Malaysia, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have legal parental or guardian consent.
- Possess a compatible device that supports eSIM technology.
- Be located in Malaysia or another region where our eSIM services are available.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information during the purchasing process.
2. eSIM Activation
- Upon purchase of the eSIM, you will receive a redemption code and instructions for activation.
- The eSIM will be activated once the redemption code is successfully scanned or entered into your device.
- You are responsible for ensuring your device supports eSIM technology before purchase.
3. Service Availability
- The eSIM service is dependent on network coverage in the location where you intend to use it.
- JavaMifi offers eSIM services based on the availability of compatible networks in Malaysia.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Connectivity may be affected by external factors, including but not limited to, network outages, roaming issues, or device incompatibility.
4. eSIM Refund and Return Policy
- All sales of eSIMs are final once the redemption code has been redeemed or scanned.
- Refunds are only available if the eSIM has not been activated, redeemed, or scanned. Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for more details.
- Refunds are not available for issues related to device compatibility, network limitations, or user errors.
5. Usage and Restrictions
- You may use the eSIM solely for personal use and not for commercial purposes unless specifically authorized.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the eSIM complies with all applicable laws and regulations in Malaysia.
- The eSIM may not be transferred, resold, or used outside of the intended usage.
- JavaMifi reserves the right to suspend or terminate the eSIM service for any misuse, including but not limited to, illegal activities, fraud, or violating the terms of this Agreement.
6. Data and Privacy
- By using the eSIM, you consent to JavaMifi Malaysia’s collection and processing of personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- We will use your personal information only for purposes related to providing eSIM services, including billing, account management, and customer support.
7. Service Termination and Suspension
- JavaMifi Malaysia reserves the right to terminate or suspend your eSIM service in the event of non-payment, misuse, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- You may also request to terminate your eSIM service by contacting our support team.
8. Limitation of Liability
- JavaMifi Malaysia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the eSIM service.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the eSIM product, and we do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted service.
9. Changes to Terms
- JavaMifi Malaysia reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated terms will take effect immediately.
- You are encouraged to review these terms periodically to stay informed about any changes.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by the courts of Malaysia.
